Kia

Times Square Reveal

We were thrilled to work on this mammoth experiential project for Kia that totaled over 44 screens covering 6 blocks in NYC. It took the amazing & dedicated teams from Gail & Rice, David & Goliath and Centerstage to pull this off on such a short time period. Our role was to create animated content for 2 different Kia presentations for an hour block that took over all of Times Square’s digital signage. Each presentation was comprised with its own anthem film as well as secondary content that spanned all the screens on Times Square. This was the perfect test for our cloud work environment as we had team members working remotely from Brazil all the way to Brooklyn on this project. Content was animated in After Effects and previz was done in Disguise.

Kia Reveal Brand Film

While making the overall presentation that spanned all of Times Square, we also were asked to build a short brand film that told the story of the EV6. In collaboration with Gail & Rice, we built a storyline of the electrical vehicle being ‘born’ in a powerful storm. It then travels across America, leaving a beautiful energy trail in it’s wake, until it arrives in NYC.
