Fivestone Studios is a Nashville-based creative production company that a national clientele of agencies and brands trust as their creative secret weapon. Our MO is taking on giant-sized creative challenges and making heroes of our clients through an impressive arsenal of animation and creative technology. We are looking for a full time Creative Director to join our band of talented artists and storytellers. In this role you can expect to lead concepting and development of a diverse range of immersive media and experiential projects. You will lead the design and technology teams working on massive installations & digital experiences. You will be 'hands on' and collaborate with your team to push concepts into new exciting territories and shape emotional experiences that will captivate audiences nationwide.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and demonstrable experience in the following:

• Strong eye for design, art, motion, typography, UI/UX, & integrating digital content into physical space

• You have experience ideating and creating experiences with development teams deeply tied to technologies like game engines, WebGL, generative art, motion sensors, AI, etc.

• Conceptual - You laugh at blank canvases. You showcase a strong ability to ideate and translate client briefs & challenges into dynamic storyboards, style frames, pitches & immersive solutions

• Persuasive - You are a rockstar at developing pitches and winning work!

• Experiential - You have a strong track record directing experiential projects, from scoping, budgeting and curating / leading the teams all the way through delivery.

• Curious - You are comfortable with and drawn to learning new technologies, approaches and software that unlock new efficiencies and inject that secret sauce to create the Wow factor. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy taking concepts into new and unchartered territory

• Leadership - You are a natural leader, able to build and direct multiple teams of artists & developers on complex projects to deliver on time.

• Communicator - You are strong in both written and verbal communication. You will have frequent check-ins with the client at collaborative meetings and be able to absorb constructive feedback to develop and lead projects to meet studio standards.

• Problem solver - You are quick to identify potential problems and find smart solutions for your team & clients.

• Composure - You demonstrate calm and flexibility as you lead your teams in a fast-paced environment, with positivity and confidence.

• Strong personal time management skills as well as awareness of project deadlines.

EXPERIENCE

• Considerable hands-on experience and knowledge working in design / creative software Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, game engines, and immersive /experimental projects.

• Demonstrates agility leading a fast paced, dynamic, and client oriented environment.

• 5+ Years of progressive experience (Strength of portfolio taken into consideration).

• Excellent written/verbal communications skills.

• Exceptional presentation skills and ability to win a room over, evoke excitement and passion with your recommendations

Position is full time. Salary (compensation based on experience and ability) with benefits including unlimited vacation, 401k + match, health insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance. In addition to base salary this role offers bonuses/commissions to the book of new business that this candidate brings to the studio.
